This morning I went to the farmer's market and purchased the following:
lettuce
3 cucumbers
new potatoes
$8.00
Krogers:
1 pkg chicken fajita meat (free)
1 pkg pork carnitas (free)
2 limes
1 pkg hamburger buns
bunch of bananas
4 nectarines
$6.85
Total spent: $14.85
Left for the week: over $5.84
However, the pork carnitas are for next week.
Hello Mrs. Trudy,
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and wanted to leave a comment. I, too, try to be conservative with my grocery spending. Our family began working toward a debt-free lifestyle 14 years ago and managed to live completely debt free for over 10 years. 3 years ago we moved to Montana and acquired a mortgage. So, we, once again, find ourselves working toward becoming debt free. We know it can be done because we've done it before.
I look forward to visiting your blog again in the near future.
Blessings,
Mrs.B
